Kyleigh Johnson

I’m the person at the office who motivates people to do their best work. I am an open, agile, and tenacious people leader with a heart for inclusion and a mind for complex problem-solving.

I am the teams Swiss army knife and thrive when I wear many hats. It’s who I am at my core - I’ve built kitchens and robots and youth programs in the South Bronx and Abu Dhabi.

I am at my best when I'm tasked to work through difficult and fuzzy challenges, especially when it’s about people and helping teams operate efficiently.

I've built out go to market strategies for early stage startups and scaled support delivery models from small (15 ppl) to large teams (>100 ppl). I’ve led diverse teams and built inclusive operations in a variety of industries from tech to coffee to improv comedy - I build strong relationships wherever I go. I understand people’s needs and create operational practices (award-winning) and tools that help people succeed and achieve business goals.

As a leader, I care and as a team member, I do the work that needs to get done. What does your team need the most? I’m here, ready to help.

Background

I studied Social Work and Childhood Education at New York University & graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in school I performed with Dangerbox, NYU’s oldest comedy improv team.

I have built and contributed to youth engagement programs in the South Bronx, Lower-Manhattan, and Abu Dhabi. I stay active in volunteer work in New York City.

I am always thinking about redesigning society to better embrace the people that make it up.

I play Aussie Rules Football

I studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and acting technique with Suzanne Esper at William Esper Studio.

Currently performing and teaching on the main stage cast at All Out Comedy Theater in Oakland, CA.
